Making $50,000 Monthly Helping Companies With Product Development

How this 27 years old run an agency that helped more than 100 startups launched their business

Hello! Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your business?

My name is Dmitriy Kuzmin, sales person, entrepreneur and engineer. 27 years ago I was born in Kazakhstan.

For my career, I helped more than 1000 startups to launch their business, as well as global corporations like Heineken, Coca Cold, LG, Hyundai, NEAR and many other business cases.

I am CEO of Bleakers.co - the worldwide leader in product development for startups.

How did you start this business? Take us through the process.

In 2018 I started to work as a sales person with no special dreams.

I honestly believed that people would always buy something and right after university I decided to work in sales.

My career was pretty successful, I managed to work as a team-lead in world-known companies, but I always wanted to try a rush and interesting journey of startups.

So I found out about WeLoveNoCode when it made its first step and started engaging deeply in the development world.

After a few months, I ran sales, raised money, and we became the biggest development company in the no-code industry.

There were ups and downs, but I left the company last October to start my own project. The good thing is, after two years in this industry, I found a great community that was willing to help me succeed.

How did you get your first initial customers?

Immediately after connecting with my friends and colleagues, we needed to get clients, so it shouldn't have taken me long to find something.

After analyzing hundreds of apps, I reached a conclusion that’s hard to dispute: The current market requires products. Investors prefer products over services because they are more scalable for further growth.

Customers prefer products because they want something original and unique, which can make their lives easier.

Knowing that some companies are not interested in making their own website and handling things in Notion, I decided to do something opposite - think about the back-story where we are fighting with the bad development quality.

Knowing my process and the quality of people I’m working with, it was absolute truth, so I’ve started to think on concept and web-page.

My first step was to focus on getting my friends and colleagues onboard, as they were the easiest sources of customers.

This is why I started with Product Hunt. To let people know what I'm offering, I used communities and social networks to let them know about the service I'm offering.

My first two sales came in 2 weeks after running traffic on a web-page and getting 182 upvotes.

Since launch, what are your marketing strategies or channels to get new customers?

Next, I focused on answering job posts on commonly available resources and launched my outbound campaign.

In just 4 months of development, I acquired my first 30 customers and generated $30k+ monthly revenue.

As soon as processes were in place, I delegated more responsibilities and hired a team. The process took a while, but I can't thank Abe and Ruslan enough for their work and managing skills.

All starting experience lead us to new launch on Product Hunt, where we introduced our updated service with 700+ upvotes and got #3 Product of the Day.
